Porat Yosef Synagogue & Community Centre is a Sephardi-Moroccan Orthodox congregation located in Bell Lane, Hendon, London, NW4. Founded in 1988, its mission is to preserve the traditions of Moroccan Jewry through prayer, customs, and melodies according to the sacred Moroccan rite.
Michel Dadoun is chairman of the synagogue’s trustees. His nephew, Dayan Avraham Yaakov Dadoun, grew up in the congregation before studying at Gateshead and then Jerusalem, eventually being appointed to the S&P Sephardi Beth Din.
